MNR College of Pharmacy has been established with good Infrastructure. Practicals help students grasp real world applications of theoretical knowledge. The computer lab facilitates online teaching and hands-on experience. One of the prime concerns of the college is to ensure that every student is happy and cheerful individual. No stone has been left unturned in providing students the very best of facilities so that they can pursue their studies in a happy and cheerful atmosphere. we recognize the fact that most of the graduating students would seek a future abroad. With an experienced staff like professors and assistant professors, the institution is a door to all those who aspire for a bright future in the fields.

Apart from the lectures students are assigned hospital duties, during their training period, for first-hand experience in Medical, Surgical, Pediatrics, Lab, X-Ray, Scan, OT and other specialties. Ultramodern wi-fi enabled Campus with more than 80,000 sq. ft is constructed in 120acre amidst mango gardens.

 INFRASTRUCTURE:

The College is spaciously laid out, highly equipped and properly maintained laboratories for different branches of Pharmacy Viz. Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Natural Products, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, Computer Education, Industrial Pharmacy, Tissue Culture, Computer Aided Drug Design and Polymer Research. We have provided separate laboratories for the post-graduate students of all the three branches viz. Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and pharmacology. It consists of virtual class rooms for 3D imaging and teaching facilities. All the class rooms are per the norms of the government and PCI. Limited number of students for each class.

LABORATORY FACILITIES:

Spaciously designed, highly ventilated, well-equipped, sophisticated laboratories are provided for maximum practical exposure to all the students. Well-equipped laboratories as comparable to the level of international standards and norms Separate analytical instrument rooms have been provide sophisticated and ultramodern instruments like UPLC Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectrophotometer, High Performance Liquid Chromatograph, SCFC, TGA, PCR, Cryocentrifuge, High Performance Thin Layer Chromatograph etc. Dissolution Test Apparatus, Ultrasonicator, Polarising Microscope, Homogenizer, stereomicroscope, Fermentor, CO2 incubators, Rheometer are available in the Pharmaceutics research laboratory. Pharmacology research laboratory has instruments like Rotorod, Actophotometer, Eletroconvulsivemeter etc. Pharmacetical technology lab with Brooke field’s Viscometer, Research centrifuge, Electrolab Tap Density Tester, Shimadzu high sensitivity digital balance, Gel electrophoresis,Automatic rotary tablet press, Colloid mill, Fluidised Bed Drier, Planetary Mixer,  Pharmacognosy research laboratory has facilities for plant tissue culture, sohxlet extractors, etc.

Rarely one would find such an updated and sophisticated equipments elsewhere in any other Pharmacy College. All these facilities have been created for the use of undergraduate as well as post-graduate students, research scholars and the faculty members.

LIBRARY:

The college library has an excellent collection of books of more than 3000 copies. The library stocks current science journals both national and international, research publications of more than 600 copies up to date, in addition to regular reference titles. It contains a wide range of books, videos, CDs and electronic databases. It is having a seating capacity of more than 200 students at a time. computers with internet facilities so that students can access to academic materials and currents issues and trends in pharmacy education healing to increase self-confidence and soft skills.

CENTRAL LIBRARY:

Sophisticated and elegant central library having more than 10000 copies of books belonging to all fields of medicine which helps the students to have wide knowledge and exposure to applied fields of pharmacy it is having more than 1000 seating capacity with centralised AC and infrastructure.

COMPUTER AND LANGUAGE LABORATORY:

The computer laboratory of the college is well equipped with the latest computers (Pentiums). It has 50 computers with CD ROM drives, printers and internet facilities for self-learning of soft skills English etc. The laboratory is exclusively used by the B. Pharm and Pharm. D students for their computer learning, online examination and also collecting data base for latest trends, drugs and material.  Our students can use sophisticated facilities such as Silicon Graphics for computer-aided drug design in their research. The ratio of computers to students is 1:2. The staff and PG students also use the facilities for their academic work. This helps the students in grooming the students in extracurricular activities.

VIRTUAL CLASS:

Built to international standards, the auditorium reflects, like everything else at the college, spacious, comfortable with executive furniture and modern audio visual aids like computers, LCD projectors. Centralised AC virtual class with seating capacity of more than 300 is available to conduct seminars and conference which help the students to interact with delegates from different fields and can share views and ideas.

VISITING FACULTY:

Eminent persons in the field of Pharmacy drawn from industry, Drugs Control department, teaching profession and hospitals, visit the college and address the students and staff on important topics in the profession. Guest lectures arranged by scholarly and experienced persons help the students and staff to update their knowledge.

CLINICAL PHARMACY:

Department of Clinical Pharmacy as a part of Pharma D. Clinical pharmacy services now offered, which include ward round participation, treatment chart review and patient counselling. Establishment of a drug information and consultancy service for all prescribers, development of parenteral drug administration guidelines, the introduction of an adverse drug reaction reporting system, development of antibiotic guidelines, preparation & distribution of educational publications and newsletters of drug and prescribing information are some of the significant achievement to date.

Pharmacy practice postgraduate students & Pharm. D. Students participate in all activities including ward rounds, treatment chart review, drug information and patient counselling.

RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS:

Need oriented projects of national importance are carried out by Pharm D, M. Pharm and Ph.D. students. Some of the areas include essential drugs, traditional medicine, pharmacokinetics, industrial pharmacy etc. Staff and students are encouraged to present their research findings in seminars/conferences and publish the same in national and international journals.

INDUSTRIAL TOUR & INDUSTRIAL TRAINING:

Industrial tour is organised for Final B. Pharm students, to visit various pharmaceutical industries in and around Hyderabad, to get an orientation to the pharmaceutical industries. Industrial training is arranged for desirous students. About 10 Pharmaceutical industries in the State & outside are involved in the training of our students.

HERBAL GARDEN:

With more than 200 species both national and internationally available specimens to help the student in estimating chemical and pharmacological action shown from their cell culture and extracts. It is for not only for academic utility but also aids in beautification of premises

MUSEUM:

Models of human body parts, plant materials laboratory ware, statues of scientist of the past executes of various forms of pharmaceutical formulations, structural models of complex organic compounds etc., are displayed in museum to enable students to visualise what they study in theory.

ANIMAL HOUSE:

College has well established 600 sq ft animal house as per the CPCSEA guidelines.
